I've been watching Meet Me In St. Louis every holiday season since I was around five years old. The movie marked the introduction of the song "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" to the public, and since I first saw this movie as a child, this scene always stuck out to me as I grew. I put on the movie tonight...

Reminds me of that quote, "Change is inevitable, growth is intentional." And the importance and meaning of family.

It amazes me how quickly the holiday season approaches.

Anything Goes: New Broadway Revival

I have been dying to see this revival of Anything Goes featuring Sutton Foster and Joel Grey!

This Sunday I went with my Mom and Great Aunt.

There's nothing like Cole Porter on a Sunday.

figment - journey into imagination, epcot center

I was watching old family videos and came across one of our trips to Disney World.

I loved Epcot Center.

I don't know why, but as a child I was obsessed with Figment, the little creature in the Journey Into Imagination ride. I am sure that seeing the image above along the video below, along with hearing the Imagination song may make you feel similar feelings of happiness and nostalgia ;-)

I saw the original broadway cast.

I miss the theatre.

This song, Unusual Way is one of the most hauntingly beautiful songs.

Laura Benanti is brilliant. She was 23-24 when she played this part.

help the dead trees make a killer LP!

Back in January, I had the chance to write a little blog posting and make this funny little video on the Dead Trees.

In the video, Michael Ian Cummings and Noah Rubin proclaim:

"We're making a new album..."

"... the rumors are true!"

And now, nearly three months later, the album has been recorded, impressively being produced by noah georgeson, and 
is nearly ready to be finished!
