k. jacques pour opening ceremony collaboration

A few months ago, when I heard news from the powers that be that Opening Ceremony was doing a collaboration with the St. Tropez based sandal company K. Jacques, I literally screamed!  For while the brand has increased in popularity over the past two years, I have been buying a pair a summer since I was 18!

K. Jacques, which has been around since 1933 (!),  began their venture making only several styles and using strictly natural leather. However, over the years, the company developed new styles and introduced a variety of colors, finishes, and materials.  

Olivia and Humberto began by picking five styles-- which included a mixture of both men's and women's. Then, using the  colors and materials offered, they chose several fun and quirky combinations for each style! The end result? A total of 10 different styles to choose from! I had to snatch up a pair immediately-- and after much deliberation ended up deciding on these awesome colorful mixed leather gladiators :)
